Welcome to Ceetar.com's MAD Brewery. Included here is a brewing history. The goal is to upload some more pictures and perhaps link to the recipes used. I also write about beer at BeerGraphs.

Just Bottled:

Sophie's Sweet Stout

Planned Brews:

Chocolate Covered Strawberry

Last Brew:

Sophie's Sweet Stout Sweet stout aged on vanilla and chocolate.
Older Brews:

Baseball Stout A sweet stout brewed with peanut butter inspired by Peanuts and Crackerjacks
Hawaii in Space Pretty standard DIPA. Galaxy and Nugget hops, splash of kiwi juice.
Mexican Blonde: 3.0 A blonde ale with agave.
Wedtoberfest: 3.0 I reconfigured the recipe a little bit, to make it a little lighter and perhaps truer to the style.
Brew Date: 6/17/2012
Strawberry NieuwenWeiss A strawberry flavored weiss named for New York Mets outfielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis.
Brew Date: 6/23/2012

MADhouse Coco-Nutz: A Kona brewery inspired toasted coconut brown ale. Perhaps my best beer yet.

Wedtoberfest: First Anniversary edition
Something Blue: Blueberry tinged Wedtoberfest
Root of MADness: A brown ale flavored with vanilla, sarsaparilla and wintergreen meant to mimic a root beer.
Brew Date: 1/23/11
This beer received a 33 in the Sam Adams Long Shot competition.

The original Oktoberfest was a celebration of marriage, and as such Wedtoberfest is an Oktoberfest brewed for Ceetar's wedding favors. It's garnered enough positive reviews that it will likely become a yearly beer.
